The Black Parade

The Black Parade is the third studio album by American rock band My Chemical Romance. Released on October 23, 2006 through Reprise Records, it was produced by Rob Cavallo, who has also produced albums for Green Day. The album is the first on which Bob Bryar plays drums, as Matt Pelissier played drums for Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge and I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love. It is a rock opera centering on a dying character with cancer known as "The Patient". The album tells the story of his apparent death, experiences in the afterlife, and subsequent reflection on his life.

Four singles were released from the album: "Welcome to the Black Parade", "Famous Last Words", "I Don't Love You", and "Teenagers". The Black Paradehas received generally favorable reviews. The album debuted at number two on both the Billboard 200 and the UK Albums Chart and is also certified as platinum by the RIAA, as well as a Platinum certification in the UK and a Gold certificacion in both Argentina and Chile by the CAPIF. The limited edition boxed set also earned My Chemical Romance a Grammy nomination. In the video game Guitar Hero II (Xbox 360 version), the song "Dead" was added to the game's track list prior to the earlier PS2 version, and the three songs "Teenagers," "Famous Last Words" and "This is How I Disappear" are available for download.

The Black Parade has sold 1,610,000 copies in the US as of October 2010.

My Chemical Romance - The Mad Gear and Missile Kid [2010]

The Mad Gear and Missile Kid is a three track EP released by My Chemical Romance that was included in the deluxe edition of their album. The guitar player Frank described it as "It's basically what the Killjoy characters would be listening to as they are driving around in the cars and having shoot outs in the music videos". First off, this EP is really good, I mean really good. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was because it is so short. The EP finished up just under 6 minutes for the three songs.
